About the Role

Partnerships Strategy Lead (Sponsorship Focus)

📍 London (Hybrid)

💰 £90,000

We’re working with a leading agency operating at the intersection of culture, media, and creativity and they’re looking for a senior Partnerships Strategy Lead to join their growing team.

This is a high-impact role leading strategy across flagship brands, with a strong focus on football partnerships, alongside broader work in entertainment, music, and gaming. You’ll play a key role in shaping new sponsorship strategies and redefining how brands show up in culture.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for shaping and leading end-to-end partnerships strategy — identifying the right spaces, defining the role of sponsorship, and unlocking commercial and cultural impact.

This is not an activation role. We’re looking for someone who can define the strategic direction behind partnerships — the why, where, and how — and work closely with creative and client teams to bring it to life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead partnerships and sponsorship strategy for major brands
  • Develop robust partnership frameworks and selection criteria
  • Identify high-value opportunities across football, entertainment, music, and gaming
  • Shape and deliver new sponsorship strategies for clients
  • Advise clients on rights, IP, and sponsorship structures
  • Unlock additional value from partnerships through strategic thinking
  • Collaborate closely with creative, media, and client teams
  • Act as a senior strategic voice in client relationships

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in sponsorship / partnerships strategy (essential)
  • Experience working within an agency environment, ideally across larger integrated agency ecosystems
  • Strong understanding of the cultural and media landscape
  • Experience working with rights holders, talent, or governing bodies
  • Ability to translate insight into clear, compelling strategic direction
  • Confident working at a senior level with clients and internal teams
  • Passion for culture and how brands authentically show up within it
  • Interest or experience in gaming and entertainment is a strong plus

Must have the same sponsorship strategy experience not activation.

If you’re a strategist who knows how to turn cultural understanding into commercial impact and wants to shape the future of sponsorship strategy we’d love to hear from you.
